The number 420 has become the not-so secret symbol for marijuana – a code that stoners will gleefully acknowledge every time it’s 4:20 pm. April 20th, as a result, has become the St. Patrick’s Day for the other green. But there are many misconceptions as to how 420 actually became synonymous with the wacky tobacky.
