*When I got a call from a fellow about his Vintage Hirobo Helicopter made in Japan, I was intrigued. It was one of the most modern helicopters of the day in 1987. He wound up sending it to me so I could try to get it completed and flown. Never did I think I would ever by another NiMh Battery after LiPos, but I had to for the heli and transmitter too. There also were more learning curves along the way, as usual. This was a Gorham Model Products version of the Hirobo Stork, and thus why it is called the special edition. John Gorham imported Hirobo’s and ran GMP for many years. He is famous in his own right. I hope you enjoy seeing what it was like to fly the most modern of helicopters 29 years ago in 1987.
Thanks for watching and I hope you stay tuned for more.
