I recently bought a WD Velociraptor 150GB about 2 days ago and I’m disappointed with it’s performance. I was using windows 7 before the Velociraptor and I reformatted because I wanted my OS files on the Velociraptor itself. Right now Vista Ultimate (64) is on the Velociraptor and It’s boottime is considerably slower then I want it to be(45 second boot) Hell, I built a budget PC for my father about 6 months ago and it boots faster then the Velicraptor boots (same OS)
Can you recommend anything to increase boot times? I think this would help out alot of people in general. Am I fussy, or is this an issue?
