2016年3月7日から開始されたアメリカ軍と韓国軍の米韓合同軍事演習「キー・リゾルブ」、野外機動訓練「フォールイーグル」と同時並行で行われる米韓海兵隊による上陸演習「双竜（ツインドラゴン）」が始まる。
このフォトミッションには米海軍のボノム・リシャール(LHD-6)遠征打撃群・ボクサー(LHD-4)両用即応グループと、韓国海軍の第5戦団が参加。
United States and South Korea joint exercise “Twin Dragons” (Ssang Yong) kick off.
Ships of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group and Boxer Amphibious Ready Group, along with South Korea Flotilla 5, transit in formation to kick off exercise “Twin Dragons” (Ssang Yong) 2016, the largest combined amphibious exercise of its kind to date, designed to strengthen interoperability and working relationships across a wide range of military operations from disaster relief to complex expeditionary operations.
