2016年10月29日から11月4日まで沖縄県の中部訓練場、北部訓練場、伊江島訓練場で行われた、アメリカ海兵隊と海軍の合同軍事演習ブルー・クロマイト2017。
ブルー・クロマイトはアメリカ海兵隊のアジア太平洋地域への遠征能力の強化を目的とした、沖縄駐留米軍独自の演習です。

U.S. Marine Corps and Navy units will conduct joint field training exercise Blue Chromite 2017 from Oct. 29 – Nov. 4 in the central, northern, and Ie Shima training areas in Okinawa, Japan.
Blue Chromite is a U.S.-only exercise unique to Okinawa, Japan which strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps expeditionary, amphibious rapid-response capabilities required to act swiftly and effectively throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
