Lisa Gade reviews the ZTE Axon Elite, the newest member of the Axon family. The phone runs Android 5.0.2 with ZTE’s MiFavor 3.2 UI on the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU with Adreno 430 graphics. It has 3 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage. It has a 5.5”, 1920 x 1080 IPS display (401 PPI) and is an international LTE 4G unlocked GSM phone with 2 nano SIM card slots.

It has a microSD card slot, a 3,000 mAh battery with QuickCharge 2.0 support, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4 and NFC. It has a very good rear 13MP camera with 2MP camera for depth effects (bokeh) and an 8MP front camera. The phone features triple biometric security- fingerprint scanner. voice unlock and eye unlock. It sells for $469. Unlike the ZTE Axon Pro, it’s marketed as a worldwide phone with no specific US model. It supports only some of AT&T’s LTE bands and it will only do voice and 3G on T-Mobile US.
