Get XDA Feed on Play:

If you don’t know what Feed is, it’s an app that curates the best stuff from the XDA forums, because let’s face it, the forums can be a daunting place and it’s easy to miss out on the latest ROM release or must-have icon pack. All content from feed is hand-picked by humans to insure quality. If you like to modify your phone or stay up to date with what other people are doing to theirs, Feed is a must-have.

Previous to this new version of Feed, we had two versions specifically for the Pixel/Pixel XL and the OnePlus 3/3T. Those versions contained both device-specific content, like ROMs, kernels, and mods, and also general content like wallpapers, icon packs, themes, cool videos, and more.

So basically what we did is that we made a new app to just show the general content. Many people had requested this and it makes a lot of sense. If you happen to have a supported device, like a Pixel or OnePlus 3, the app will automatically show you the correct Feed. Otherwise, you’ll see universal stuff, until we add new devices to Feed, which we plan on doing in the near future.

Another thing you can now do in Feed is suggest links so that the community can help with finding the best content from XDA. In this way we can better service the plethora of devices out there by letting the users suggest the best stuff. So pitch in and help! From the slide-out menu, tap Suggest Content, and just paste in a URL [try it with a forum link–paste in a thread, add a title, pick a category, add an image under “Optional fields”], add some details, and it’ll go into a queue for our Feed maintainers.

As always, Feed lets you specify what type of notifications you want to see, and at what frequency [show that in the settings]. We also made further optimizations to the app for speed and fluidity. So if you haven’t tried Feed yet and have been waiting, now’s the time. We’re really proud of it and we know you’ll like it a lot.
