This isn’t a tent — it’s a creative solution to food waste that provides sustainable cooking fuel.

HomeBiogas 2.0 blends kitchen waste and animal manure. Bacteria breaks it down and turns it into Biogas, which can fuel a burner and create liquid fertilizer. It accepts up to 12 liters of food waste per day and can light a burner for up to three hours daily.

The company says the system is safer than propane, since the gas in it is stored at low pressure. HomeBiogas hit its Kickstarter goal in just one day. Now hopefully the idea doesn’t go up in flames.
