Vintage Stork Helicopter, 2nd flight. Speed test!04:33

This is the 2nd time I have flown the Vintage Stork and still being careful. When Frank sent this Heli to me, he asked me how fast I thought it would go. I said about 60 mph. I have been adjusting rods on it to get the blades to track at high speed, which have proven to be more difficult than I ever remember. They go out of track when I go full speed. The head on and linkage is pretty sloppy on this old bird, even tho it is brand new. I don’t think it likes the bigger engine?
No push rod threads or any linkage is slipping. It goes out of track at speed and goes back to normal in hover!
When I get this 10 pound machine finally dialed in, I will try again.

I hope you enjoy seeing what it was like flying one of the most modern of helicopters of 1987 fly as it we used to 29 years ago.

Thanks for watching and I hope you stay tuned for more.
