This is a very simple Taser. You can threaten your friends.
This is rectification circuit added.
So you can charge more than 300V DC.
Once the capacitor connected to the power supply, it is considered temporarily short-circuit. So, diode capacity required more than V rms * 1.414 / R amperes.
230V * 1.414 / 100 ohm = 3.25 A
