– The latest v1.2 firmware for this device allows for diagonal activation! I really wanted this bad and I’ve already got it 😛
– I made a mistake on the affiliate link, it doesn’t offer a 10% discount so it’s still full price but if you purchase using it you help my channel and it’s appreciated!
– You can also bind multiple keys like SHIFT+W for instance in BF4, I didn’t demonstrate this video but confirmed it is working!

Today I am finally getting a chance to review the Stinky Footboard USB controller for FPS, MMO, RTS & MOBA (and just about anything else!). It’s a very unique controller that allows a single foot to control up to 4 actions in your game and can be combined with macro programs to do complex operations with your foot while keeping your hands free to stay on target! I have been wanting to review this product ever since I heard of it because I personally suck at FPS because whenever I’m crouching I have trouble with WASD to maneuver and throw grenades all at the same time. This device has complete solved that problem and allows me to comfortably used my foot to prone, crouch and even knife attach without having to risk moving off target using the side mouse buttons or having to stretch out my hand on the keyboard.

The device is far more configurable then I thought it would be, it comes with multiple sets of springs to adjust the activation pressure for each button and the switches used are Cherry MX switches which are the best in the industry. The software is very easy to use and straight forward and even allows you to save multiple profiles for different games and it will automatically update your board with the right profile when you start your game which I found to be pretty epic.

This device seriously makes it like you have a 3 hand and really opens new possibilities when gaming. I can’t wait to give it a go in Battlefield 4 when it releases! For this review I used Call of Duty Black OPS II and it works great in it, there is no lag on the controller and it basically responds as a keyboard. Anything your keyboard does this can do also and the best part is you can still use the keyboard if you want. You can still crouch with CTRL on the keyboard and use the foot-board at the same time to perform the same action.

Pro(s)
– You can configure 4 actions that can be performed easily under your desk with a foot (or you can buy 2 and use both feet for up to 8 actions! And yes I am going to do this!)
– You can adjust the springs on each individual action to dial it in perfectly for the pressures you want depending on the action (comes with 3 extra sets of springs!)
– The build quality is EPIC GOOD, it’s never going to break (Cherry MX Switches are awesome!)
– The software is very stable and not buggy, it’s also very intuitive
– It connects via USB with included 6 foot cable and basically acts like a keyboard (Simple!)
– Zero lag, when you feel the click the action happens!
– Has LED’s to show you when the profiles are being updated on the board
– 100% compatible with all games (and desktop applications)
– Supports Key Down, Key Press and Pulse (for rapid fire or rapid actions while held)
– Platform is very solid, when your foot is at rest on the unit it feels like your foot is on the floor, no wobbling, no noises, solid as a brick house!

Con(s)
– Can only emulate keyboard strokes, it cannot emulate mouse or joystick strokes (this however can be worked around with programs that convert keyboard strokes to mouse strokes, might do a video on this in the future!)
– Can only activate one switch at a time, it would be nice if you could activate multiple at a time by pushing with a diagonal motion
– Does not come in a 2 pack 😀 (I really want one for each foot to seriously nerd out!)
