Siemens collaborated with the Turkish IPP Cengiz Enerji to build the first 50Hz H-class plant outside of Germany.
Located east of Samsun, the largest city in the Black Sea region of Turkey, the combined cycle single shaft power plant features a SGT5-8000H gas turbine. With an installed capacity of approximately 600 MW and an efficiency of almost 61 percent, it is the most efficient fossil-fired facility in Turkey.
