The Toyota Supra has been a highly-anticipated debut from the company. There have been endless rumors and speculations, all discussing the possible launch date of the automobile. It seems like the myth might finally be turning into reality in the month of March, as that is when the automobile conference is scheduled. According to an online publication, the latest Supra model is going to arrive in four different models/trims. The list apparently includes Base Supra, GR, GR Sport as well as GRMN. Each of these categories represents unique performance and design.

Here’s more about Toyota branding the car under the Gazoo Racing name from the Auto Express report: “The Supra will be by Gazoo,” the performance division, Shigeki Tomoyama, told Auto Express late last year.

The news comes after it transpired that the Gazoo Racing team became more heavily involved in the car’s development – after Toyota president Akio Toyoda tested the vehicle and decided it needed to be “more mobile.” The prototype of the upcoming Toyota Supra vehicles has been provided with the additional edge during the initial set-up.

The report further goes on to reiterate that Supra will represent a hardtop. At the same, its BMW counterpart will represent the convertible category. The two models will come packed with different engines. Nonetheless, readers are advised not to take this information with hundred percent authenticity or reliability as the automobile manufacturer themselves haven’t confirmed to this news as yet. It goes without saying that it sure is refreshing to know that the Supra rumor-mill will finally be put to rest in March.
