Need a ride? The Continental tire company designed a self-driving concept car called The BEE. B – Balanced, E – Economy, E – Ecology mobility concept. What do bees have to do with self-driving cars? They’re designed to drive in swarms. A swarm of BEES takes up less space than other cars. The BEE can fit up to two adults. Cars can be requested with an app but it may only be restricted to urban areas. It has a top speed of only 37 mph. Continental envisions that they will have different sizes with different features. Although the BEE remains a design concept, who knows what will be buzzing around in the future?
