NASA Commentator Dan Huot talks with Dave Mathers, a manager in the International Space Station Mission Evaluation Room, about a milestone for the station’s regenerative environmental control and life support system. As of early this week the Urine Processor Assembly, Water Processor Assembly, and Oxygen Generation Assembly racks have been operating together on orbit for seven years, transforming waste water on the station into pure drinking water and breathing oxygen to support the human crew members.
