Thanks to an invitation from the first lady, a bunch of lucky fourth-grade Girl Scouts got to pitch their tents on the White House lawn on Tuesday.

Other activities on the South Lawn of the White House included rock wall climbing, knot tying and orienteering, as part of Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” initiative against childhood obesity.

Unfortunately, the campout didn’t go exactly as planned. Bad weather forced the girls inside later in the evening and they slept on the fourth floor of the Eisenhower office building next door.
