While the equipment we use in production has gotten better and less expensive, our crews have gotten smaller and smaller! Companies are also building in-house production teams (generally made up of 1-5 people), to create ongoing and high quality content for their web and social media outlets. Corporate video production companies have also changed in terms of their structure and resources. And, clients expect higher quality content for the same or less money!

In this video, Jem Schofield of theC47 takes you through the challenges and effective solutions to small to no crew production. He discusses the realities of the future of production as we move from HD to 4K acquisition, post and delivery.

This video will feature specific equipment ideally suited to smaller crew production from companies such as Triad-Orbit (T-O), for lighting & audio support and grip solutions and Westcott for lighting and light shaping tools.
