Remove SearchConduit.com right now.

Google Chrome:
1- Uninstall any instances of searchconduit in your control panel. Most of you will not have searchconduit in there but you may have “search protect, search safe” or any other program with the word “search” or “conduit”.
2- Open Chrome, click menu (top right hand corner) select “settings” and look under “On startup” select “open a specific page or set of pages” delete all instances of searchconduit.
3- Same page, look for “Appearance” Make sure your “home button” is not set on searchconduit.
4- Same page, under “Search” click “Manage search engines” delete searchconduit if its in there.
6- On the same page, click on “Extensions” on the top left under “History” and delete anything with the word searchconduit, Value Apps, and anything else with the word “search”

And there you have it! Say Bye Bye Searchconduit.

Note: if you are still getting it in your tabs go to your programs files and delete the folder that is linked to this Conduit. It may be named Search Conduit, Search Protector, Search Safe, or something along these lines.

If you are still having problems, then you can try this.

You are consistently being redirected from your search results back to search.conduit.com all the while your homepage has been changed too. This search.conduit was eating lots of my memory and cpu. I did some research and there are numerous ways i found on the net to remove this but none of it helped. However, i found something else in my Google Chrome settings that i must have missed. And it worked, simple as that. I can finally surf quickly and freely. Thumbs up

NOTE: If you see anything to do with hao123, get rid of that too!!!

FIREFOX:
1. Open Firefox
2. On the address bar, type — about:config in the URL. Press Enter.
3. You will be warned about Warranty. Click on “I’ll be careful…”
4. On the Filter dialog box type — search.conduit
5. It will display all related entries. Right-click on Preferences Name and Reset.

Click “Tools” in the menu and select “Add-ons.” The Add-ons Manager will open.
Select the “Extensions” tab.
Locate the Conduit extension and click the “Remove” button. The Uninstall window will open.
Click “Tools” in the menu and select “Add-ons.” The Add-ons Manager will open.
Select the “Extensions” tab.
Locate the Conduit extension and click the “Remove” button. The Uninstall window will open.

INTERNET EXPLORER
Click the “Start” button on the taskbar.
Click the “Control Panel” option.
Click the “Uninstall a program” link in the Programs section.
Select “Conduit” and/or “search protect” or any other program with the word “search” from the list and click the “Uninstall” button. The Uninstall window will open allowing you to remove parts of Conduit.
Click the “Remove Conduit Engine and all your apps” radio button to remove Conduit in its entirety.
Click the “Remove” button.
