The given below image of the back cover of Samsung’s Galaxy S9 suggests that the company has now finalized the placement of fingerprint sensor. The picture clears that the fingerprint sensor will be packed with the panel of camera lens rather than any lousy place at the back panel. Other hardware like the LED flashlight and heart rate sensor will be placed adjacent to the board which consists camera lens and fingerprint sensor.

There were many rumors for the fingerprint sensor of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Some were saying that there would be the placement of an in-display fingerprint sensor while some are saying that the arrangement will be packed under the square of the camera lens.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will not be much different from the predecessors Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Leaks suggest that other than a more bezel-less display there will not be any change in the front panel of the smartphone. And for the back panel, there will be the change in fingerprint sensor placement, and this is the just which Samsung will launch with the upcoming flagship.

It is also in rumors that Samsung was planning to place the fingerprint sensor under the display but didn’t put it due to a lack of space because of a folded screen to make it bezel-less from edges. Both the devices will undoubtedly have some upgraded hardware to serve even better performance. A recent leak also suggests that a 512GB storage variant may arrive in Galaxy S9 Plus to offer the most significant internal storage in a smartphone. With this much-limited specs and changes in design, Samsung will face much competition with Apple’s last launch iPhone X which is currently ruling on all sales point of smartphones.
