Sometimes we do get interesting job offers, like this “punisher” gatling. It will be used in a crazy TV show, against the behind of protagonists who gave wrong answers. Therefore, it had to be weak in order to avoid injuries.
This made the project actually more complicated, as the rotational force of the gatling barrel set will tend to throw the slow ping pong balls of their course. A transmission had to be developed, and also PVC tubes were required rather than the usual “open flight” setup.
The shot energy is significantly lower than 0,5 Joule, therefore this is regarded as a toy in Germany (legally and factually).
It is fun to shoot! We hope customs won’t have any issues with it, as the filming will be in the UK.
