In this video, I’ll be showing you an app called “Secure Eraser” that allows you to permanently erase deleted files. Normally, when you delete a file, Android simply marks the storage space it occupied as “empty,” but it doesn’t actually remove the remnants of the file. This is how apps like “Undeleter” are able to recover deleted files—because the original file is still on your storage drive and is just being ignored by the system.

So if you want to make sure you’ve eradicated all traces of files that you have previously deleted, use this app to overwrite the “empty” space with random data, which will then make it virtually impossible to recover the deleted files.
