Parachute Cam dropped by Blade 400 Helicopter04:33

I used an old Tatone timer to make a chute release to drop my 4 ounce Aiptek
Pocket Cam X from my Blade 400 helicopter.
The “Wind up reverse video was for fun, not to trick people.

LOL You would think it was obvious, but a lot of people still believe I had a string on it. Ha ha.

A servo could also be used but this simple setup can be moved from plane to plane very easily.

I used an Estes Model Rocket Parachute.

The winds were howling. These small helicopters have no weight or mass, so they really are like flying Frisbees in a wind storm. Hard to maintain a good hover that high up for me too, as I cant see the darn thing, even with my pontoons on!

Hope you enjoy this and be sure to follow our Traveling Chute around the world video for more fun.

Thanks.
