According to a report by Expert Review, the alleged OnePlus 6 smartphone is apparently going to feature facial recognition technology – similar to the one found on Apple iPhone X. The report, citing information provided by a “reliable source,” suggests that the OnePlus six will be unlockable not through a fingerprint scanner but a facial recognition software.

The source further went on to add that the front camera system of the smartphone will be equipped with infrared light and 3D camera technology, which will play the role of carefully and correctly detecting every single feature of the face. As far as other specifications are concerned, the OnePlus six smartphone is further speculated to sport a dual rear camera system – just like its predecessor.

There is a high possibility that the handset will come equipped with a 2K screen, however, that remains uncertain as this particular rumor has been around for decades and OnePlus doesn’t seem to take it seriously. Experts feel that the OnePlus 6 will be introduced in the market in June or July next month. The Chinese company is usually not the kind to break traditions, and thus, by its traditional pattern, it appears like the OnePlus 6 will be launched in the market sometime in June or July next year.
