Since filming, Prof Pines has informed me the huge device we filmed was in fact THE ACTUAL electromagnet used by Lawrence (not a replica)… And in the hurly burly of filming, he apologises for saying oscillating “magnetic” fields when in fact he meant oscillating “electric” fields! Even famous Profs say the wrong thing sometimes!
