After the success of the Oreo Shooter, we received lots of requests to explore the pump gun concept further on. One of the more interesting ideas was to make a coin shooter, for “office war”.
In an office, you don’t really find scroll saws and Thera Band rubber – but you do find cardboard, glue, staplers and office rubber. The Slingshot Channel presents a coin shooter today that was made just from these components! A bit of black ink was used for the finish.
The weapon is chambered for Two Euro-Cents coins, but it will also fire US dimes and M5 washers. The super thin launcher uses a total of 10 office rubber bands to propel the projectiles fast enough to go clean through an empty ice cream carton. With it’s 12 round magazine, the weapon is ideally suited to win even the most fierce office battle in history!
