A little twist to the dark side for this channel as we make something most unsavoury with a slight risk of demonic possession. Scrying mirrors have a long history and are intended for gazing into to predict the future or view the spirit world. They’re closely related to crystal balls and gazing pools.
In the Victorian era it was common practice to play scary parlour games with various mysterious occult devices like the Ouija board and scrying mirrors. It offered the same experience that we now get from horror movies.
A scrying mirror is actually very stylish. Basically a piece of jet-black glass in a frame. It’s the perfect gift for timid and superstitious friends, and highly entertaining to see their reaction when you explain its true purpose.
