A major exploit in the WPA2 WiFi security protocol was discovered and announced that is one of the biggest exploits ever. Virtually every single Wi-Fi device in the world uses WPA for Wi-Fi encryption, and this set of Krack exploits now means any Wi-Fi connection can be intercepted and decrypted. All devices are vulnerable, and some, such as Android and Linux devices, have an even more extreme vulnerability where an “all zero” encryption key can be installed, making it trivial to bypass any encryption on these devices. Manufacturers and developers are already working on patches, but it is important that you will have to patch BOTH your devices AND router!
