Litemax, a provider of industrial computer parts announced 4 new products that use 8th and 9th Generation Intel Core CPUs. The architectures covered in the two generations are Coffee Lake-H and Whiskey Lake-U, respectively. Intel has promised these chips a long support life of 15 years. The boards include a 3.5″ SBC (Single Board Computer) (Litemax models AECX-WHL0 & AECX-CFL1), a KIOSK Module (Litemax model ASKM-CFL3), and an Embedded PC. These new systems are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications in fields like interactive kiosks, industrial automation, digital signage, and AIoT.

The 3.5″ SBC boards have a tiny 146mm x 102mm yet still have enough room for 6 USB 3.0 ports, 1 SATA 3.0 port, a SATADOM port, and a few COM ports. The small boards also have room for either 2 HDMI ports or 2 DP ports, depending on the model you choose. Both versions of the board include an LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) video connector.

Because they use off-the-shelf x86 processors, these boards have full support for Windows 10 out of the box. The paid of boards supports up to 32GB of RAM running at 2.4Ghz. The IBOX-WHL0 version features a passive cooling solution for silent operation. The IBOX-WHL0 has a different port arrangement as well. The board hosts 2 DP ports, 2 LAN ports, and 4 USB 3.1 ports.

Litemax’s SKM boards follow Intel’s Smart KIOSK Module guidelines. The Litemax ASKM-CFL3 is fitted with an 8th generation Intel CPU based on the Coffee Lake-H architecture. It supports 2 standard DDR4 DIMM and multiple displays. The board features a pair of M.2 slots. One of the slots is ‘E’-Keyed and the other is ‘M’-Keyed.
