Here is a list of most downloaded app of 2017

The Bitmoji app ruled the Apple’s annual list of the most downloaded free iTunes apps of the year, the app owned by Snapchat topped the list while Snapchat itself on the second position.

Snapchat was on the No.1 place on last year’s list and Bitmoji was not even in top 10 and used to create avatars that slip into emails and Snaps.

YouTube stands behind Bitmoji and Snapchat as it is on No. 3, the app show progress as compared to last year, Youtube was on No. 6 last year. Facebook Messenger which was on No. 2 in 2016 has come down to No. 4 this year.

The photosharing app Instagram remained at 5th place on the list like last year. Facebook and Google Maps also are in the same places in the list like 2016, No. 6 and No. 7 respectively.

Netflix showed a slight growth and grab the No. 8 position, Netflix was on No. 9 last year. Spotify also showed growth and holding the 9th place on the list, the app was the last app in the last year’s list, it was on No. 10.

Uber which was not on the list in last 10 years managed to hold No. 10 position in  Apple’s 2017 list of the most downloaded free iTunes apps of the year.

A  shopping app which offers low-priced goods from China surprisingly made its debut in the top 15, Wish is the new entry in the list and grabbed the 15th place.

2016’s new entry Pokemon Go which was in top 10 apps failed to hold any position in the list this year. The app even failed to make it in the free apps or the free games, the category led by Super Mario Run. Pandora, the music streaming app managed to hold No. 12 position.

Apple Music, Pages and other Apple apps come pre-loaded on devices. Thus, Apple apps don’t rank in the Apple’s annual list of the most downloaded app.
