A whole new section has now been added to the world’s largest model railway. After four years of construction, 180,000 working hours and costs totalling around four million euros, the Italy section was opened on September 28th. Take a look at this video for some initial impressions of the unique model world in a scale of 1:87. It includes Rome, Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Liguria, Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, Vesuvius, Atrani, Fiordo di Furore, Riomaggiore, Rimini and much more. The video was shot in an elaborate process using a pole cam and Osmo.
