This video will show you the proper steps to force roaming on Verizon’s network using your Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus. You must be on an AOSP rom. Stock rooted will not work. Use at your own risk, I am not responsible for any contract warnings/cancellations etc. Any questions, just ask.
