When you want to go big, but don’t want to break the bank buying a 65-inch TV, a projector can be a cost effective option. We’re going to help you see if buying a projector is right for you, and what you should consider, before and after your you buy one.

When looking to buy a projector, it’s important to remember the factors about controlling the light, screen size and type, protector placement and wiring, and what audio system should be paired with it, too.

When watching a projector, you need a way to black out the light, so if you have windows with light pouring through them, you’re going to want to install blackout drapes.

There are also a few different types of screen types to choose from; you can install a fixed projector on your wall, another you can hide, or painting a wall in a specific paint made for projectors. Sizes can vary larger than any TV you can buy on the market, so make sure you’re utilizing your space as well as you can. Make sure you have at least 8-10 feet between your projector and your screen. Make sure you’re managing your cables and wiring as well.

For home theater sound systems and you have a projector, you’re going to want to look into making these two things a pair. With big picture should come big sound, and a home theater is essential for this. But more importantly, the AV receiver acts as a video switcher, so if you have a lot of different components, this will definitely help.
