To recall, HMD Global officially revived their classic Nokia 3310 feature phone at the MWC, 2017. Leading rumors and speculations state that the company plans on unveiling the Nokia 9 smartphone running on Android Oreo OS (Go edition at the event scheduled to take place next month.

As noted by Gadgets 360, rumors regarding this started emerging when HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas on Thursday posted a teaser on his official Twitter account. “Sorry for the radio silence. Been super busy planning #MWC2018. Please expect it to be awesome,” his tweet read. Clearly, there is no description of what he is referring to when he says the word, “awesome.” On the basis of recent reports, however, it is safe to assume that it will be something to do with Nokia’s premium segment market.

The 2018 Nokia family is speculated to consist of Nokia 1, Nokia 4, Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 (2018) as well as Nokia 9 smartphones. Along with this, the Finnish technology giant is also expected to revive it’s Nokia 3310 feature phone with a 4G version of it. The handset recently appeared on the official TENNA certification website, which further confirmed the existence of the same.

The handset, on the basis of the information provided through the website, will be running on Android-based Yun OS. The 2018 line-up is expected to receive the Nokia 6 (2018) mid-range as its first member. At the same time, Nokia 9 will be the ultimate flagship offering by Nokia this year.
