In this softModder tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to hide root from certain applications that don’t run when they detect root. Certain applications like Direct TV’s GenieGo or Best Buy’s CinemaNow won’t work on rooted devices, but with Root Cloak you can hide root from whatever application you want.

For this to work, you’ll need to have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or other Android device. Also, make sure to backup your device. Thirdly, you’ll need Xposed Installer and the Root Cloak module.
