The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Lockheed Martin are improving the veterans claims process with solutions in advanced analytics and healthcare. Since 2013, the VA’s claim backlog has been reduced by 90%, simply by developing an efficient and centralized system for paperwork. More than 128M physical documents containing more than 895M images have been converted to standardized, indexed and searchable files. This allows claims to be processed more efficiently, so receiving timely benefits is one less thing veterans need to worry about.
