Mysteriously and ridiculously entitled experiment will be revealed soon. This is simply the oxidation of the molten candy gel-oxidant – potassium chlorate.
The present experiment is potentially dangerous! Potassium chlorate is a strong oxidizer and sensitive, the smallest indiscretion can cause a fire. If the reagent tube with molten burst and the contents spilled on clothing was to catch fire immediately and very severe burns.
