Griffin Armament M4SD II Comps: Muzzle Control Done Right by Nutnfancy

Battlecomps are great but they’re a rip off. This creates opportunity for the competition. That competition is the Griffin Armament M4SD 2 series of muzzle devices. Costing about half of a Battlecomp, they provide the same or BETTER levels of rapid fire compensation and superior flash suppression. They are many models to choose from to suit your own POU. I recommend the M4SD II FLASH COMP model. In extended TNP testing it showed outstanding compensation AND flash suppression. While it does weigh more than the feathery 1.8 oz Battlecomp 2.0 at 3.2 oz but it’s more durable and provides multiple functions while the BC does not. Made from 17-4 PH SS with OAL of 2.25″, the Flash Comp makes a great permanent addition to a 14.5″ barrel to reach non-SBR lengths, as tested here. These M4SD II units interface with any A2 birdcage compatitble suppressors. A precise tabbed washer and shim system is provided to achieve precise and concentric indexing for this. Concentrating on muzzle functions, the M4SD II series do not feature scalloping for CQB [as do the YHM Phantom 5C2 shown]. However at around $85, these Griffin Armament muzzle devices provide superior value to other excellent but exceedingly overpriced muzzle devices. Highly recommended.////////////////////////////////////////////Nutnfancy Likability Scale: 9 out of 10 [if 2 oz, 10 out of 10]
