Google’s “Waymo” company has filed a lawsuit against Uber for allegedly stealing trade secrets and designs used to build self driving cars. It took Google 7 years to develop a laser tracking system used on their cars, but Uber was able to do it in just 9 months. They say that this is because a Google employee downloaded the plans from Google, then started his own company which was bought out by Uber.

Google Allo is apparently being developed as a desktop app as well as the current apps, which will hopefully be used to take on iMessage. If it can be done, I think this would be awesome. But for now, Allo is crippled from the fact that it doesn’t support SMS.

Also, Snapchat “Spectacles” glasses are now available for sale online, as opposed to having to buy it from one of the “snapbots” which appears in a new city every day. I still think these things are goofy looking and dumb.
