Editors at Google have certain criteria that they follow while sorting and ranking these applications. “The new collections will showcase apps and games that deliver incredible user experiences on Android, use many of our best practices, and have great design, technical performance, localization, and device optimization,” the company wrote in a blog post.

It is being reported by BGR that the firm has been able to gather over 22 new applications and 16 games in the first quarter of 2018 itself. The first in the section of new Android Excellence apps is 1Tap – a platform that is designed to keep a track of your expenses and maintain personal book-keeping for the owner. The 1Tap app is followed up by Acorns in the second position – a platform which is known to be an investment guidance platform. The third in the position is Airbnb – which is a popular hotel/apartment/property rental platform.

There are many others on the list of best applications of Google Play, including IFTTT, Clue, iReader, LinkedIn, and Video Editor, among others. Coming to the Android Excellence games section, Agent A has managed to secure the first position, followed up by other games including Bit Heroes, Bloons Super Monkey 2, Dancing Line, Dead Warfar: Zombie as well as Dragon Project.

The list is followed up by many others, including Idle Heroes, Lords Mobile, Lumino City, and Old Man’s Journey. The list also includes a few names of new applications – EyeEm, MusixMatch, and ViewRanger that they think that you should definitely try out.
