Galaxy Note 8 beats iPhone X, Pixel 2 in OIS video recording test

One of the main things that any interested purchaser considers in a smartphone before buying it is undoubtedly its camera. It goes without saying that we live in an age where smartphones are supposed to be the most-used devices when it comes to capturing pictures or videos. Flickr conducted a recent study wherein it discovered that iPhones are the most-used smartphones for capturing moments.

The recent generation of iPhone devices that Apple has been introducing do come with enhanced camera features, which improves the entire smartphone experience. Other smartphones used for clicking pictures include Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 smartphone and Google’s Pixel 2 device. These three flagship offerings of 2017 have their strengths and weaknesses, depicted by the numerous tests that they have been made to go through.

According to a report by BGR, the smartphones were made to go through optical image stabilization (OIS) test recently. This test help realize the actual capabilities of each of the cameras that come included in these smartphones. The brand new video states that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 has the best abilities when it comes to this particular feature.

Optical image stabilization (OIS) is considered as being an essential factor that helps the camera system capture pictures without any distractions. Things like the camera shaking or blurriness instantly prevent the smartphone’s camera from ruining the image.

The recent test was carried out by popular YouTube reviewer, Evan Rodgers who made an extreme comparison between 2017’s leading flagship smartphones – Apple iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Google Pixel 2. One can view the subject walking through a certain direction through each of these smartphones. The reviewer states that Galaxy Note 8 really shines bright when it comes to this as it is, “eating some kind of vibrations for lunch.”
