Link to the blueprints and secret tutorial video:

Many slingshot enthusiasts contacted us and wanted blueprints and tutorials for the pump action weapons presented here on The Slingshot Channel. These are probably the most hotly sought after plans for our weapons ever.

Even though we hate doing tutorials, we could not ignore the requests from so many viewers. It was time to do it. But of course the Oreo shooter has very limited applications, and the cardboard coin shooting model is flimsy and weak.

So we decided to make a really nice one that shoots M10 hexnuts (or, alternatively, 7/16th). Those are very cheap, are easily available, last forever, and have the right weight. About 10 gramms is ideal for a pump gun, as draw length and weight is limited if you want to be able to fire quickly.

Also the weapon is pretty thin, just under 30 mm wide and 80 cm long.

The magazine fits 40 rounds!

The video shows the impact in a full box of Oreos (we hate that stuff), and also into Ballistic Gelatin. A coconut shot and a 10 meter bottle breaker complete the tests. Even though it was freezing cold (Easter is winter this year), the weapon performed really good.

The mechanism is really the same as for the Oreo shooter – but we put in a rare earth magnet to hold the “active” nut in place. Nice, you hear a clicking noise when you repeat, and then you know everything’s fine.

A “The Slingshot Channel” production!
