HW97KARBINE sent these about a year ago and we finally got around to testing them out. He wanted to see if the simple aerodynamic design the Nerf darts utilize, will also work at higher velocities. But foam doesn’t hold up to the high g-shock of a shotgun. The three rounds were made of stainless steel and had a heavy solid tip pressed into the front, which makes the rounds front-heavy. The long tube creates drag, which is supposed to make the rounds fly straight. But will it work? In life, success is paved with a lot of failures. If HW97Karbine quit after the first failure, we wouldn’t have seen the few exciting rounds that he designed, work remarkably well!
