In this video Eric goes over a common process used gunsmiths to determine unknown calibers using Brownells Cerrosafe casting alloy. This alloy is great for chamber and muzzle casts as it has a very low melting point and fills outs very well for accurate measurements. THe firearms used in this video is a very old German Cape Gun with a 16 ga smooth bore on one side and an unknown rifle caliber on the other. Lets see what it is. Stay tuned, much more on the way.
