Most cordless machines have simplistic, inefficient cyclones that allow a large portion of dust to pass straight through and into the filter. As a result, filters get clogged and suction is lost even after just one use. DC59 uses 15 cyclones arranged over two tiers to spin out the finest dust and dirt before it even reaches the filter, meaning no suction is lost.
