Over the past few days I’ve been working on a world record attempt to build the brightest single bulb flashlight in the world. This video goes into detail the design process and troubleshooting of trying to build the light. I’m taking a break from it today but will start working on it again soon. My first step will be to circulate the dye solution through the pumping cavity to avoid both heat buildup and to flush out any parasitic metastable triplet states in the fluorescein. Stay tuned! So I’m in the need of an oscilloscope that records down to nanosecond timescales for both this project and my explosive ruby laser project. Any suggestions from my viewers???
