Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Review – The Android Tablet You Deserve

While the iPad will always receive its fair share of media coverage, no tablet has been anticipated more in 2011 than the Transformer Prime. On paper, the device’s specs are a tech-lover’s dream: Nvidia’s new Tegra 3 quad-core processor, an incredible 10.1″ Super IPS+ display, estimated 12 hours of battery (18 hours with dock), 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording and a build quality that would make Apple engineers red with envy. Mind you, this isn’t the first time we’ve tangled with a Transformer (no, not the robots). Earlier this year we reviewed the original device and concluded it was one of the best tablets on the market — and still is. Asus PR hyped up its newest member of the Transformer family pretty high once it was finally announced early last month. Not only that, but there have been plenty of tantalizing rumors, leaks and photos of the Prime, making the wait all that more agonizing. Needless to say, when we received the Eee Pad Transformer Prime last week, we had some high expectations for the Tegra 3-equipped device. Continue reading:
