12ga Shotgun CUT SHELLS -Slow Motion Study04:33

As much of a surprise as this might come to some viewers, I am not a fan of the cut shells. I don’t even think they are a good idea to shoot. These are just my opinions. The wax slugs on the other hand are not going to spike the barrel pressure and possibly damage your gun- or worse. Just because you saw someone doing something on the internet, doesn’t mean -your- gun isn’t going to blow up in your face. JMHO

The wax slugs are slightly smaller than the ID of this cylinder-bore shotgun.
The cut shell OD is considerable larger than the ID of the barrel (approx. .045″) and the pressures to push that through the barrel may exceed the safe rating of your gun. Better to side on safety on this one, at least that is my opinion. I could be wrong, not afraid to admit that but I’d rather be wrong and safe than to experience a shotgun blowing up in my hands or hear that happening to a viewer because I told them shooting these things was OK do to. Hopefully that makes sense.
